The son of William and Ann (Goodale) Allin/Allen, he married on July 5, 1674 in Salisbury, Mary Harris, daughter of John Harris of Rowley.
He took the Oath of Fidelity in Dec., 1677 and was a freeman in 1690. His will was written Feb. 5, 1698-9. The widow, Mary, was appointed administrator of his estate on June 3, 1700 and the estate was settled in 1717.

- William b. June 14, 1680, living in 1717. He was admitted to the Salisbury Church on March 25, 1705. Residing in Greenland in 1720-1.
- Abigail b. July 2, 1683, bpt. Aug. 7, 1687, m. Joseph Wadleigh; she was living in 1717.
- Judith b. Jan. 17, 1686-7, bpt. Aug. 7, 1687, d. April 5, 1703.
- Dorothy b. Aug. 12, 1688, bpt. Sept. 30, 1688, m. Ephraim Hackett
- Mary b. Dec. 1, 1692, bpt. Sept. 25, 1692, d. April 6, 1703
- John living in 1717.
