Shared note
This is from a typewritten copy of an Obituary and Church Notice which was included in the letter by Susie LeZotte, dated May 16, 1962, with the record of the LeZotte Family from the year 1828 to 1962.

Mary S. Little was born in Essex County, Vermont, Oct. 17, 1834, and departed this live, Oct. 30, 1923, at the age of 89 years and 13 days. At the age of 16 years she was united in marriage to Charles C. LeZotte of New York and to this union eight children were born.
She was preceded to the better land by her husband, who died April 27, 1905, and two children, Mrs. Ella Beers of Watertown, S.D., and Herbert of Creed, Colorado.
During the year of 1874 the LeZottes came to Nebraska and settled on a homestead near Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, residing on the old homestead continuously until 1902 when they moved to Beaver Crossing.
From the death of her husband until 1922, most of her winters were spent with her son, Hardy, on the home farm near Beaver Crossing. In 1922 Grandma LeZotte went to Mason City to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. R. R. Martin, and was there when she passed away.
She was early converted to the Christian Faith, United the Methodist Church and was always a devout Christian.
She leaves to mourn her departure: Charles W. LeZotte of Forest Grove, Oregon; Mrs. Emma Martin of Mason City, Nebraska; George E. LeZotte of Cody, Nebraska; Mrs. Ida Peterson of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; Mrs. Myrtle Horning of Drummond, Idaho, and a host of friends.
A short service was held at the Martin home in Mason City Thursday morning, after which the remains were brought to Beaver Crossing for interment beside her husband.
"There is a world above, where parting is unknown. A whole eternity of love, formed for the good alone; And a faith beholds the dying here translated to that happier sphere."
