One Dish Pear Pie
- 5 to 6 medium fresh, ripe pears
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 stick butter
Peel, core and half pears.
Melt butter in baking dish.
Combine and mix remaining ingredients with melted butter in baking dish.
Mix with wire whisk or fork. Mixture will be lumpy.
Arrange pears on top of mixture.
Bake for approx. 1 hour at 375°. Pie may need an additional 10 minutes if center is not set.
Serve warm with ice cream.
Any fruit may be used.
